Well the weekend turned out to be exactly like I wanted it too. I feel 100% relaxed and very very pleased.
I arrived at home on Friday night. I spent the night having a nice dinner, watching tv, and having A L O T of girl talk with my bff. It was fun and we got to bed a decent hour. Decent enough, that I woke up at 9:30 on Saturday :/ I was only OK with it because I wasn’t still tired. We went to the T-Mobile store to get my new phone. I ended up getting a LG Optimus. I like it, but like any phone it has its flaws. My #1 problem is a NO flash camera, meaning I’ll have to get a real camera. Poo.
After the store, we met my mom for lunch at El Chico! Yummy! I love their chips and dip, it’s my favorite. Then on whim, bff and I decided to pick up and head to Tulsa to go shopping. We ended catching a lot of…. sales? I got so many new clothes from a new bathing suit to a Justin Bieber T-shirt!
For dinner we got some Olive Garden, which I got their Chicken Parmigiana because lately I’ve had a thing for it, but it turned out to be really gross. So, I won’t be getting that again. After dinner, we caught the Justin Bieber movie which turned out to be a lovely experience. I didn’t know much about him going in to the movie, and honestly it was a beautiful story of the underdog. I loved it, plus I was singing and dancing, it was so much fun.
Sunday wasn’t different than any other day, I drove home and finally got to see Chris. I missed him terribly over the weekend. In my sleep, I almost rolled off the bed, because he usually prevents me from it because I snuggle into his back. We spent the night together catching up on Jersey Shore.
Today’s been good thus far, everyone would be so proud to know that I’ve gotten dressed in my big girl clothes for almost like 6 days in a row. Yay! I went to my classes today and of course still nothing back on my Brit lit paper or exam. Sigh. I’ve got a lot of school work to complete before Spring Break and hopefully my Tudor-Stuart midterm next Friday won’t scare me terribly!
Speaking of Spring Break, I’m super excited. At first, I was iffy about spending a week with Chris and his mom and dad, but I’ve decided it’s going to be a blast. Sleeping in, sun, home cooked meals, pool, and maybe even the beach. I’m very excited but sad that I won’t be returning to Alabama to see Dessie. Sigh. I need to be working on finding her a birthday present. She has so much stuff that I honestly have no idea what to give her.
Longest post ever I think. Ta ta.
