What have you done for him lately?

I have been a tad slow on posting and can’t decide on whether it’s because I don’t really want to talk about things that are going on or whether I am just lazy. Well I guess I could start with the bad news.

  1. My Job: I’m at a total loss on what to do about my job. Should I quit before I get fired? Should I stay? I’m not sure but there’s a high chance I’m going to be fired very soon, but if I should choose to quit where should I go?
  2. My Classes: I didn’t do as well as my ambitions were set on my Tudor midterm or for my Spanish midterm. My teacher’s answer, “Try harder next time.”
  3. My roommates: These bitches have been the majority of my stress since I moved into that dreadful house, however things have completely hit the fan.
  4. Money: Forever a problem.
  5. The Human Race: I’ve never been so disappointed in so many people in my life. I won’t lie, but I have seen the ugly side of life and truth be told I’ve been the ugly side. But never in my life have met so many careless, selfish, rude, and heartless people as I have this entire month.

So yeah those are five really bad things, but let’s try to focus on the good things in life:

  1. Chris bought me netflix so I can watch The Tudors without paying $120 for the box set.
  2. My new diet is working. I’m losing weight :) One pant size down! (I’d like to be excercising more, but I don’t have time)
  3. I’ve put in several applications for new jobs, wish me luck.
  4. I just finished reading “Water for Elephants” set to be a movie soon. It was a fantastic book, well plotted and written with strong character development.
  5. I just signed up for classes in the fall, I got all the ones I want. I’m taking one with Chris’s sister and one with my good friend A who’s been dearly missed this semester, who hopefully will be an alarm clock for our 9 am class.
  6. I’m very excited to be moving into my own apartment, complete with NO roommates, except for Chris, but he’s more like a pet ;)
  7. Summer time with 0 classes :D

So things are looking up and down all at the same time. I’m trying not get down because my big sister, and dearest friend will be graduating in May and sadly moving to Indiana. Sigh. She got into a great school, the best school for her major, and I’m so proud of her, but I’m terribly sad she’s leaving. But I know I’ll see her often, especially if Chris and I keep doing this thing we’re doing then hopefully if he loves me enough he’ll love to fly me there! (things are getting a little more on the serious end because Chris is graduating in Decemeber, I don’t really know what this means for us, or me).

Other than that, no complaints. I’m hoping to relax a little this weekend all the while reading a new book (I’ve found this helps me cope with stress) and completing some Spanish! So close to never speaking a word of that language again!!!
