I’ve been practically stuck in the 1920s for two weeks. I’ve recently read Water for Elephants which turned out to be a fabulous story set on a circus train during the 1920s Europe. It was a captivating tale which is set to be movie later this summer. After finishing the book I’m definitely very excited to see the movie.
I just recently started another book, Bright Young Things, which follows the tale of three flapper girls in the summer of 1929. I’ve always been really interested in history so I’ve taken up a new hobby of reading books that take place in famous historical periods.
I’ve also recently started watching The Tudors, which started kinda slow but now up to episode 4 it’s grabbed my attention with the famous story of Anne Boleyn, a woman I’m infatuated with.
Netflix has actually proved to be quite educating, with it’s many documentaries. I’m nut for nerdy things and truth be told I’d rather watch the history channel of MTV any day. I’ve actually taken to all the documentaries on history and nature. Ahh… bless.
Work tonight. Boo.
